| GM World Class Certified Technician | Websites and development
The past 4 months have been tough at Corvettemechanic. First, I must apologize personally for the failings of this website and as the administrator, I am ultimately responsible. When the site crashed, I could not get it back up no matter what I tried and then for some unexplained reason, it returned. That being said, during that time JBZO6 and the old Crossedflags.com website came to the plate for us in major ways. They renamed Crossedflags as thecorvettemechanic.com and Rob whom owns it really helped us immensely to keep the word out. The goal of what we are doing now is as follows. 1) The standards of service of Corvettemechanic will continue in bigger and better ways. 2) NO ADVERTISERS OR SKEWED VIEWS on what does or does not work as far as repair and service of Corvette and GM vehicles. 3) The combining of the databases of both websites to reflect our commitment to serving the Corvette community BETTER than we have before. We are still in the beginning stages and will be developing strategies to proceed with seamless reliability that unfortunately has not been there as we have wanted. Please check out both sites and PM myself with suggestions for the future so that we can remain THE TRUSTWORTHY source for correct service advice and technical assistance. Professionally, Paul "c4c5specialist" |

| GM World Class Certified Technician | CORVETTEMECHANIC.COM ETHICS
There have been many PMs to the administration about the standard by which this board is moderated. Let us be very VERY clear. Corvettemechanic.com does NOT subscribe to vendor or personal opinions, theories or vary our judgments based on the popular opinions of other websites on the web. We, meaning the moderators and administrators of this website, are operating this site based on TRUTH of GM motor vehicle service. While we specialize in the service of Corvette, our goal is the no nonsense approach to ACCURATE GM vehicle repair and maintenance. We sometimes may change our advice based on the latest service information from GM regarding the care of these vehicles. We will NOT, under any circumstances be swayed by threats, piracy of our information, or any other attempt to profit from this website. If there is any doubt, this is a MEMBER supported site and NOT FOR PROFIT and to that end, we will serve our membership to the best capacity we can. We are not affiliated with GM or any other corporation, nor do we speak for anyone else. Our staff is comprised of dedicated people and they give of their private time to take care of this board. We do not make money from this board, nor do we tolerate any advertising. We do not attempt to be the most popular board, ONLY THE MOST CREDIBLE!! |
