The CM Community is not an ad driven website, nor do we derive any income from this site. Once per year we have an annual piggy bank drive. When the pink piggy appears, we depend on member donations to pay for the bulletin board software, hosting and any additional products that we use for the benefit of our membership. Our Sponsors are members who have donated $50 per year or more and receive the Sponsor status. Once this site is paid for el' Oinker is closed until the following October. Transaction guidelines and disclaimer Transactions should be in accordance with all local, State, and Federal laws. All International laws should also be observed, if applicable. Buyers and Sellers assume all risks in any transaction and agree to this by using CM to buy and sell anything. The CM Owners or Staff will not be responsible for any disputed transaction. CAVEAT EMPTOR applies in all transactions. Obtaining the personal information of sellers by Moderators or Administrators As
a seller, using any of the various 'for sale' forums, Moderators or
Administrators may ask for valid contact information at any time to
ensure proper use of the board by all members. Sellers are required
to provide valid information within 48 hours of any request. Sellers,
who do not respond within the allotted time period, will have their
listings removed from the system until the requested information is
obtained. Requests of this nature will only be made using the board
Private Messaging system (PM) and not by email. Do not respond to any
emails asking for personal information. Such requests will rarely be
made, and all information obtained will be in strict accordance of
our forum privacy policy. The following are examples where staff 'may' offer limited assistance: 1.)
Transactions involving non-receipt of a paid item. 2.)
Receiving an item that is significantly different than advertised. The
following are examples where board staff will NOT offer assistance: 1.)
Any request for assistance in obtaining a refund or adjustment. 2.)
Item was lost, damaged or stolen while being shipped and out of
direct control of the seller. This also applies to a buyer returning
an item for a refund. 3.)
Minor problems with an article not mentioned or pictured by the
seller. (Note - buyers are responsible to ask any and all questions
before completing a transaction). 4.)
Item arrived late or was shipped late. 5.)
A buyer agreed to buy an item, but never sent payment. 6.)
Seller overcharged in shipping and handling. Contact a member of the Administration Staff and provide pertinent
information of the problem. If after a review of the facts provided
by both the buyer and seller, and if the situation clearly warrants
action, the offending member will lose all future selling privileges
and/or be banned from using the GK43 site entirely. Any assistance provided by the board staff is limited and in no way will an attempt be made to obtain any refunds or adjustments. Again, CAVEAT
EMPTOR applies in all transactions. Auctioning
off items on the forum Members are not allowed to auction or sell any items in any forums. Use our FREE Classifieds. Links to outside active auctions may be posted in the auction link forum. |
