CM LS3 and A6 in a C5 Z06?

I just spotted the thread on the ls2 in an 85 vette..

I wondered if the LS3 could be made easily to work in a 01 Z06?

I'm joking about the A6 as I think it would be less expensive to just buy a c6 A6 than retrofit...( I have heard the A6 won't fit or something so thats really just a pipe dream)

The crate motor LS3 430 hp motor is on my list down the road..

I see the ls6 crate motor is 4700 dollars..

Sure would be nice as the time comes to buy an ls3 that could bolt right in to our ls6 Z06s' when its time to replace..(without the reluctor wheel change etc)

Anyone think GM will ever build a crate LS3 motor that drops right in? without having to disassemble? for reluctor wheel etc?

If you have to tear apart the motor to change the reluctor wheel than you might as well go with a 414 forged by the time your done...

I've priced those out at around 8 or 9 grand...plus installation..(about a grand)

Not that I need a motor but just shooting the breeze...

LS3 with a set of headers probably makes 450hp easy and it would be warrantied for 3 years by GM?

Thats kinda cool.

Not getting into the electronic difficulties.. I believe the length of th driveshaft is shorter in the C6.. or something like that..

cheaper to buy a c6 at this point considering the discounts ..which are growing by leaps and bounds.

Greetings to All I am honored to be a member in this VA. You have brought FUN back to flying.

I was wondering if any of the members have repaints for the PSS-777 and the Level-D 767? Not trying to create any new work, just thought I would see if anyone had already created them.

Thanks and Have A Great Day
