Hi, On my way back from @ Carlisle Friday night the Service Engine Soon Light came on after about a 1.5 hours into my ride home. About an hour later it went off. This morning I checked the codes and it was 32 (EGR). Due to the fact that the car ran fine for the whole 3 hour ride and the Service Engine Soon went off on it's own, should I be worried? Any advice would greatly appreciated.

HI there, The light will clear the next time you cycle the ignition. I would be checking to see if the vacuum is being sent to your EGR valve. I have seen both the solenoid and the valve itself fail. Accurate testing with a vacuum pump will tell you if the valve is ok or not. Allthebest, c4c5 |
