CM 96 LT4 throttle hard to open
96 LT4 takes excessive force to get throttle off the closed stop. Been this way since I've owned it (4 years). Once it opens slightly, it operates smoothly throughout the throttle range. It has a BBK 52mm throttle body. It was on the car when I bought it. Any actual performance gain with the 52mm?

HI there,

The closed stop is misadjusted so the butterfly valves in the bore are binding.

You have to open the stop slightly then reset your throttle position sensor voltage.
