CM 96 C4 LT4 "Service ASR" fault light
96 C4 LT4 convertible with 20,000 miles has a "Service ASR" fault light. The "ASR Off" light is also on. No problems associated with the fault. Car functions normally in all other respects. How are ASR problems diognosed? Disconnected battery and cleared alarm but it eventually came back. Thanks for any info.

HI there,

You would have to scan the ABS/TCS system.

You could also have a bad control module.

But the diagnostic trouble codes will be there.
