i noticed on my 2007 (VERT., A6, F55) yesterday while moving (at an idle down the street) that when i give it a just a little gas i hear a "clunk" or "click" ar the rear. is this normal? is this loose axle nuts? any ideas? this is a GQ with 5,300 miles, FWIW. thanks.

Do you hear the same noise going both forward and reverse, the one click when you make the shift and then it stops ????

Hi there,

When you are doing that, slightly lift up on the Ebrake lever and see if it goes away.

Check your rear swaybar mounts. They've been known to loosen up @ the mounts to the frame.
