Problem with the power steering. I have replaced/rebuilt all components
of power steering system. Car is up on blocks and wheels are off car. I followed the book to adjust the cylinder rod. It stated; "if rod is retracted turn nut clockwise until rod moves outward". With engine running and fluid warmed up I did as directed. But turning nut clockwise didn't cause rod to move. At that time power steering fluid spayed all over the place. What did I do incorrectly, if anything. Thanks, Ed

I've ordered a rebuilt power steering valve. Was advised by knowledgeable mechanic that I may have reassembled old one incorrectly. I took it apart and it was assembled correctly per the instructions and diagram I have. Nevertheless, will not reinstall it. Thanks, Ed
