What's the proper modern radial tire size for a stock '69? Seems to me it should be 215-70-15, but looking at the tire data, it says for 6-7" wheels, and the '69 has 8" wide wheels. Various forums have guys saying certain sizes fit or don't, and some sizes seem to fit some cars and not others of the same year.

Hi there, Are you using the same wheels as it was equipped with or are you using aftermarkets ???? IF stock, what is the width of your wheels???? My data shows 6.5 inchs. Allthebest, c4c5 |
