HI there,
4 brake pipe retainers.

The bolts are available from either VPI or there is a dealership, Power Chevrolet in Irvine Ca, that also has these bolts.

14048990 is the part number.

I also was looking for these bolts - I tried contacting Power Chevrolet in Irvine CA and was told the Chevrolet dealership closed.

Any contact info?

Also - what is VPI?

Thank you.

HI there,
VPI is VINTAGE PARTS INTERNATIONAL, and they only sell to dealerships as far as I know. THEY BUY GM old stock of parts and then sells to dealerships.

You can give your part numbers to your local dealership and they will know that VPI has them.

Hello everybody. I've been in contact with my local dealership about my leak. The Service manager included in his quote, $360 for a new converter. Is the replacement of the TC necessary for this repair, or is he just covering his butt as this is just an estimate? Thanks again for your time.

Hi there,

The TC may or may not be needed.

Normally, you would inspect the side that stops inside the sealing surface to make sure its not grooved to ruin the new seal.

Inspection is the only true way to determine if its needed.
