CM Help Me Find C4 (1996) selective ride control rear left shock

I need to replace my rear left shock absorber on my 1996 C-4 convertible that has selective ride control. I bought a GM/Delco right side shock about two years ago but never put it on yet. Now I want to install it but would like to replace the left side aslo at the same time. But (opps !!!) when I went to the Chevy dealer, I was told this shock is discontinued, and I can not get a replacement selective ride control shock. They actually told me to buy a new Corvette because the parts for C-4s were being "junked" by GM.

Help please. Does anyone know where I can find this item?

HI there,
Bilstein does still make this shock.
There are many different after market sources that sell them.
We do not support any, so find one with the best price and go with them.

Most guys with selective ride control convert the car to regular shocks when they find out the price for the selective ones. There is a way to disable any codes/lights once the conversion is made.

I checked out the Bilstein web site. They do not have the 1996 Corvette shocks I am seeking with the solenoid value on them. I did look at the pictures they had for the 1995 selective ride shocks and they are not the same style as the ones I have - with the solenoid valve on them. Any other suggestions? Let's keep trying. Thanks.
