I bought a 2001 Z06 that I suspect may have been lowered. It measures about 5" at the jacking point under the front doors. I've been told it should be closer to 6", but I had the dealership take a look at it and they claim it's fine. Any ideas?

HI there, What were the measurements that you were given???? Trim heights are measured at the suspension, NOT at the frame rails. Allthebest, c4c5 |

Someone on the Corvette Forum had a page from what looks like a service manual showing the height at the lifting point at the front of the door and the height at the rear of the door as 155mm or somewhere around there. I don't remember exactly. This is just shy of 6". The different suspensions were listed, but unfortunately the Z06 suspension was not one of the choices, which made me question if the Z06 suspension was different or not. |
