Both great vehicles.

GM really has outdone itself with these two vehicles.

Would you guys believe I dig onstar. I like the onstar navigation system they gave me for one year for free and the hands free cell phone is awesome too.

Sorry to hear you're having problems with your new car.

I wish you the best of luck.

JB
I like onstar too, I think the turn by turn navigation is awesome.

Do not PM or email me with vehicle issues, I will not answer. Please post your questions on the board. We are not mind readers, all C4's, or C5's etc.... are not all the same.... so please follow our simple guideline and 'INCLUDE THE YEAR OF YOUR VEHICLE' with your question.

1998 C5 Corvette Coupe. almost 200K miles. Very few problems. C4C5(thanks) has been able to tell me how to fix most everything I didn't know how to fix myself. Just wish run flats were cheaper...Can't go non-runflats for personal reasons..........I think if you drive and maintain the C5s you don't have problems. May be wrong but I think the garage queens will have more issues.

Ford Trucks anybody heard about them spitting spark plugs?.....some only have 3 or 4 threads for the spark plug hole is what I'm reading. How big is this? They say Ford is doing nothing for the customers or dealers on this problem. Truck fires etc.

Talking Daily Driver

I was driving a 2002 F-250 diesel to work every day for a couple of years. Great truck and it doubled as a puller for my 31 foot camper trailer on trips.

I was looking for a "commuter car" this past January and after looking at late model used car prices I settled on a nicely priced, low mileage (13,500) C5 Z06 LeMans Commemorative Edition Z16. I love driving this back and forth to work. I drive 23 miles each way and it is a blast, when it is clear roads or lots of traffic. I drive the truck if it is really cold or heavy rain. The C5 has been trouble free for 6,500 miles (now over 20,000 total) as of July 4 when I was deployed to Afghanistan.

Interesting how at work other people with sporty cars would park near me...fun. I got there early so I could pick my spot, the stripes are sporty!
