CM C5 C6 Gear Charts

Moderators, feel free to move this thread if it needs to go somewhere else.

I have put a c5/c6 gear chart spreadsheet on Google Docs.

I also have a presentation on how to save the spreadsheet to your computer and create and run a macro to fix issues from downloading from Google (Windows only, No Macs).

The presentation is at http://docs.google.com/TeamPresent?d...&skipauth=true
Please view this first if you want to download the spreadsheet.

The spreadsheet is at http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...nfCeljDuWA-ZQw

You have to have a Google account to download the spreadsheet, but you can create this account using any existing email address.

To Download this as described in the presentation, you will have to click on the Google Docs link or the Edit this page link at the bottom of the sheet.

The Specs sheet lists different C5 and C6 models with engine, redline and tire diameter. It also shows formulas for RPM, MPH, Gear, and Tire Diameter.

Each transmission sheet shows the overall drive ratio for each transmission gear (for the specific transmission)and rear end gear combination.
It also shows MPH for any gear and axle ratio at 2000 rpm and 6000 rpm with the tire diameter shown in cell A2. The default custom rpm is the redline for a specific engine (Shown in cell F2) as shown on the specs sheet. The only exception to this is the MN6 shows the redline for the LS1 and not a LS7.

Also the MN6 and MZ6 ratios are the same for the 2008 TR6060 as they were for the T56.

If you download this, you will be able to change tire diameter and custom rpm to see effect of changes to MPH.
